3 Year Work Experience, Available to Hire
Structural Engineers’ identity is the level of comfort he/she brings to people’s lives through his/her work. Social service has always inspired me and structural engineering is the most humble social service I can perform. I want to improve communities and see my designs taking shape in the future. It is my vision to provide a sustainable roof over every head and that is why I am moving back to India. I am passionate about Building design and have a profound interest in sustainability. A sustainable project today can contribute a lot to a better tomorrow.
I am a Graduate Structural Engineer at Walter P Moore and Associates, Inc. for more than 1 year now where I analyze, design and detail Buildings and vertical structures using standard industry codes and office guidelines. Before this, I worked at VDOT for 1.5 years where I designed prestressed concrete, reinforced steel, and steel girder Integral Abutment Bridges. I also prepared other project documents. I am highly determined, self motivates, and possess a pragmatic approach to contribute to your organization to find innovative solutions. I have a desire for challenges and proactively work towards fulfilling my dream. I am familiar with all major Indian and US codes. I have worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and won the award for Outstanding TA. I also have an EIT license, and LEED Green Associate credential as well and is looking for opportunities as a Structural Engineer in the Building industry.
